------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue May 17 16:39:08 -0700 2005 ------- Hi! Working with named ranges I found that they always operate as 'absolute' reference; this may result somewhat confusing in a large spreadsheet as it makes impossible to use named ranges in formulas: when copying cell formulas the result would be different from what expected. Wouldn't it be possible to change this feature in such a way as to make possible to distinguish between 'absolute' and 'relative' reference to a named range? Just by way of example, in Lotus Millennium I could choose between: a. nrc_1 b. $nrc_1 Notation 'a' would be considered as a 'relative' address (so its value would change for each row/col in which it was pasted) whereas notation 'b' would be considered as 'absolute' (invariable). Thanks for your attention. Regards, Ennio. P.S. I found the same behaviour in OO-1.9.82 --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
