------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed Feb 9 01:42:16 -0800 2005 ------- This is a difficult issue to give details on, because I cannot reproduce it at will (although it happens about once a day) - Windows ME either BSODs with an error from NVDISP, freezes, or more usually resets the PC (with no error) when using OpenOffice 1.1.4 on a variety of documents in the word processor. I have also experienced this same reset once under Windows XP when a presentation was open. When the issue occurs, the program has invariably been the active window and has been idle for at least one minute. The documents I have been working with all contain medium-sized tables (about 12-15 columns wide and 30-50 rows), with a variety of merged and split cells both horizontally and vertically. I have never known my PC to reset itself when using any other software, not even OpenOffice 1.1.3 which I used for quite a while. Because the most common problem is the reset, I don't have an error message I can give you. Is there some kind of debugger I can run that would catch more useful details for next time the software crashes, as I realise this report isn't exceptionally helpful right now?
