The Text should be numbered 1 ... 300. In order to change the starting number of the page count, I have to set up a special paragraph style that I have to use at the start of the book text. That can be done, but it's awkward. Logically, I should be able to tie the page numbering to page formating. It took me half an hour to find out how to kludge my way to what I want because it was in the wrong place.
