Sorry for my English.

OOo Writer doesn't save UP and DOWN directions of animated text in HTML (with
SXW it works properly).
I see this bug in OOo 1.1.0 (at Linux) and in OOo 1.1.4 (at Win2000)

I am sorry - i do not know, how exactly menus are named in English.
Way to reproduce bug:

1 Open OOo Writer
2 Choose 'Animated text' from left-side [by default] panel, in the 'Drawing
    tools' menu
3 Create a rectangle (by mouse :) )
4 Enter any text
5 right-click on frame with the text you entered -> Animated text -> choose
    direction UP or DOWN
6 Press OK
7 If you deselect frame with text, you'll see (I hope) that it scrolls from
bottom to top of the frame
8 Save your file as smth.html
9 File|Reload
10 As I think, you must see that text scrolls from right to left of the frame
   (as the default)
