------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sun Mar 27 03:32:46 -0800 2005 ------- WordPerfect has a different approach to autorecovery after system crash: It does not attempt to recover the original file, instead it offers the user the possibility of opening, renaming or deleting a numbered file, which WordPerfect had been using parallel to the named file. This approach is more flexible than the OpenOffice/Microsoft Word approach, and much less dangerous. Yesterday after a system crash OpenOffice was not able to reopen a very important file of 270 pages.
