------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Apr 11 12:17:05 -0700 2005 ------- If I set the default printer to "print to file" then OOo writer starts and loads a OO template in around 3 seconds - no quickstarter - great - fast enough for me not to notice. If I set the default printer to an unreachable network printer then the startup time is around 15 seconds at 100% cpu.
