SUMMARY:
Tested on OpenOffice 1.9.79 (Downloaded as 2 Beta). View set to "Print view".
Tested on 15.4in widescreen laptop screen.

The approximate dimensions of the grey bar is 10in long by .75in high. The bar
extends from the left most side of the screen over to the right. The bar leaves
~2.5-3in unpainted.

The grey bar is always located in the same location.

Reflowing the screen by scrolling the window causes one of two cases:

1. If the window is scrolled only slightly, the bar moves with the window as it
is scrolled.
2. If the window is scrolled and the bar goes off the screen, it dissapears.

When the screen reflows by scrolling, two small pieces are always left. There
is one piece, ~.25in long, that is formed from the leftmost border of the
screen over to the edge of the print view window. The other piece extends from
the rightmost edge of the print view window ~1in to the original end of the
line.

Minimizing the window causes the entire grey area to dissapear.

I will submit screenshots as soon as I get them taken. Perhaps those pictures
will clarify things.
