Hello,
perhaps this is a problem of windows 2000, but possible it is a OOo problem. I
don't know. Sorry.
I wanted to print a file out of OOo writer.
I choose file--> print.. . Then I got the printer dialog. I choose properties,
got the printer-properties window and made there some changes. Then I pressed OK
in the printer dialog insted of the printer-properties dialog. Both windows
disapeared. Only the writer window was still there. (Later I recognized, the
printer-propertied window is still behind the writer window. Nothing happend, no
printing. So I tried once again, file --> print... chose properties, made
changes, pressed OK (this time in the print-properties window). Pressed OK in
the print window. The document was printed. Now the strange things began. I
wanted to look at the side-view(? in german "Seitenansicht"). But by choosing
file --> "Seitenansicht" nothing happend. And with click on any item in the file
menu, nothing happend. Even the X (for closing the window) at the right corner
of the window didn't work. So I minimized the window with the _ icon at the
right corner of the window. I found the old printing-properties window and
choose (*) cancel. Now OOo crashed. I can reproduce this appearence. When I
choose OK instead of cancel in the printing-properties window at (*), the
document is normal printed and the writer works fine.
I thought this could be interesting for some developers.
Greetings
Martin
