------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed Jun 29 11:49:05 -0700 2005 ------- I am using open office 1.9.79.23 to do web pages on a Suse 9.3 Linux machine. The issue is to do with hyperlinks, that are assigned the wrong paths. I create 2 web pages and save them to a directory /home/andy/links One is saved as "index.html", the other as "link.html" I open the index.html file I write some text "This is a Page" I write under it "this is a link" I then highlight the word "link" and insert hyperlink, the hyperlink dialogue box comes up and I choose file, I browse the directory and select "link.html" In the path it says file:///home/andy/links/index.html I save my changes I now open the file "links.html" Do a similar job and create a link back to index.html this time the path back is file:///home/andy/links/link.html I save my changes Now here's the weird bit.... I want to upload my pages to my webserver on another site so feel that I ought to check my hyperlinks, I open the view as html source menu. I look at my link and it says
link
That won't do, so I change the link to
link
I go back to look at my page and check the link, somehow it has automatically changed to
link</P Aaaaarggghhhh!!!!!! I dont want
link</P Even if I edit it, the wretched thing automatically reverts to
link</P Please help, I am sure it is some default setting somewhere that is not correctly set, however I have reproduced this error several times Cheers Andy --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
