------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed Jul 6 02:45:32 -0700 2005 ------- not sure weather defect or feature? issue goto menu -> insert -> section popup "insert section" -> columns select 2 columns un-check "Evenly distribute contents to all columns" -> ok Their is no way to access the second column the only way is to menu -> format ->column check "Evenly distribute contents to all columns" now content can be maded to appear in 2nd columns repeat process and un-check "Evenly distribute contents to all columns" and all text in second column is moved intothe first column I believe this was a feature in earlier versions as the ability to access both columns with "Evenly distribute contents to all columns" un-check was outlined by Mike Angelo -- 25 November 2003 (C)in his article Create a Newsletter with OpenOffice/StarOffice Writer http://www.mozillaquest.com/Linux03/OpenOffice-Writer-Newsletter_Story02.htm I have tested it no three versions, 1.1.3 linux; 1.1.4 and 1.9.113 win2000 same all three I hope this is useful the format ok This is my first go at this thanks --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
