------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sun Jul 10 04:24:28 -0700 2005 ------- It's important that show hidden chars like parahgraph, tab and space are always shown the same way. This works for Tab (an arrow) and non-full Tab (small arrow) but NOT for paragraph and space. I think Writer uses a custom graphic icon for Tab which is perfect. It stays the same and the user cannot type this symbol and thereby confuse his own text from that symbol (when hidden chars is shown). The same should of course be the case with paragraph and space - namely - they should ALWAYS use the same unique custom icons - so that they cannot be confused with typed text - and they should stay the same ALWAYS - and not change size depending on the font. The tab symbol nicely stays the same. So here we have an inconsistency bug in the Writer interface. Also you should make it possible to decrease the contrast on the shown hidde symbols so that they could be sort of greyed out or the user could choose another color for them.
