I use WinXP German with the default setting “,” as decimal-separator and “.” as thousand-separator. I set Local setting “German (Germany)” in OOo. Take a new Textdokument. Generate a paragraph-style with decimal tabulator and default seperator ",". Insert a table. Turn off "number recognition". Insert <tab> 1.234,5 in one cell. Insert <tab> 1.234.567,89 in the cell beneath. Apply your paragraph-style with decimal tabulator to that cells. Watched behaviour: The numbers are aligned at the "." Expected behaviour: The numbers are aligned at the "," Decimal tabulator in tables works fine in OOo1.1.4 and they are still correct if you open such a file in OOo1.9.113. They remain correct when you save such a file in odt-format.
