------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sat Jul 16 19:04:10 -0700 2005 ------- I think this is an issue of backward compatibility of OOo. I saved a file in OOo 1.1.4 in DOC and another one in SXW format. This file contained Traditional Chinese characters. I opened this file in OOo 1.9.113. Then I used the Chinese translation tool. I chose to translate the selected text from Traditional Chinese to Simplified Chinese. Nothing happened for the characters. My solution now is to copy the characters to a new file and change. My machine is Windows XP Traditional Chinese version with Service Pack 2. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
