------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sat Jul 16 22:49:18 -0700 2005 ------- OOwriter (1.9.113) is supposed to be able to digitally sign documents if the certificate is stored in the Mozilla certificate store. However, on a Linux (RHEL4) machine running the Mozilla Firefox browers, OOwriter does not see the key3.db, cert8.db and secmod.db files found under the ~/.mozilla/firefox/<some-string>/ directory, if Mozilla's Thunderbird is also installed (with or without its own copy of key3.db, cert8.db and secmod.db). In order to make it work, I had to create symbolic links from my ~/.thunderbird/<some-string>/*.db files to the ones in the ~/.mozilla/firefox/<some-string>/*.db files. It appears that the fix should be that OOwriter should see the merged set of certificates if Firefox and Thunderbird are installed - or as a workaround until then, the user must merge the certificates into a single database and put symlinks from one to the other. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
