2005 -------
I have 2.0beta running on SuSE 9.3. 9.3 comes with Java 1.4.2, optionally
upgradable to 1.5.0 (which removes 1.4.2). I did this. When I insert a frame and
click the Macro tab, I get 16 dialogs telling me that there's a JVM problem. On
the console, I get

file:///usr/lib/jvm/java-1.4.2-sun-1.4.2.06/jre/lib/i386/client/libjvm.so.[Java
framework]sunjavaplugin.so could not load Java runtime library:

Indeed, this file doesn't exist, but the corresponding 1.5.0 version does.

I assume that this occurs because OOo once ran 1.4.2, that path got cooked into
a config somewhere, and now it's stale.

Thanks. I really appreciate OOo... you're changing the world.
