If you move the cursor immediately after text has been pasted, then the cursor 
will jump back to the pasted text a split-second after you stop moving it.  If 
you scroll down half a page and do not move the cursor, then the scroll also 
jumps back to where the text was pasted. 
 
How to replicate: 
First, you make a large table (say, 10 pages' worth) with five or six columns.  
 
Next, you Paste some text into a column, and then immediately scroll down.   
Wait a split second; the cursor will jump back to where the text was pasted  
(for no apparent reason).    
 
Note: This has not been fixed as of the 1.9 beta for  
Debian/sid.
