------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Oct 13 00:08:48 -0700 2005 ------- Context: I'm running SUSE Linux 10.0 (Final Release) and Fedora Core 4. The former carries OOo 1.9.125 and the latter 1.9.104. The conjunct consonants with the Unicode Devanagari U+0930 character at the beginning do not form correctly. To reproduce the bug: 1. Using the Devanagari keyboard layout in X, I type rkata, rkhata etc. 2. The relevant keystrokes on the QWERTY keyboard are jdkl, jdKl. Result: I find that the rendering of the conjunct consonant gets disturbed after the non-conjunct "ta" (keystroke l) or for that matter any other character or even a space is hit. What should have happened instead: The conjunct consonant starting with U+0930 should not get disturbed. Additional Info: I will submit screenshots using various Devanagari Unicode fonts in Linux. Proof that it is specific to Linux OOo only: 1. In Windows, using any font and OOo 1.9.125, I get proper renderings. 2. KWord 1.41 on KDE 3.42 (on SUSE Linux 10.0) renders all the fonts correctly. I will supply any additional information as required. Please correct the subcomponent for this issue if I have diagnosed it wrongly as "viewing". --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
