------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Oct 27 20:22:04 -0700 2005 ------- I have to use *.dot templates as a base for many of my documents. It is generated my a Word "convert". Tables are always affset to the very left edge of the page. The template also contains what appears to be a watermark, although it does not appear in the background menu as a watermark. The text appears as a background print accross the page. Each time I open this document in OO2, the text font and position gets more messed up. Going back to Word shows this text in the correct size and orientation, but shifted a small distance to the left. The template also uses Fields to mark things such as author etc on specific pages, and version numbers/dates in headers and footers. Ever since I've used OO, the author field displays garbage every time I open it the document. I can reinsert the field, print etc and all is well. The next time I open the document, the author is @#$$%^ or something to that effect. I would REALY like to use OO all the time, but these few items stop me dead every time. Is there a workaround? --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
