Hello!

I've made a lot of works in OOo Writer using OOo Math objects. The
version I use is 1.1.3. One day I gave my friend some works. He has OOo
2.0. When he opened it he saw some incorrect equations.

Now about the problem. In OOo Math 1.1.3 I can type "20sqrt 2" and "20
sqrt 2" to see the equation "20 multiply by square root of 2". But when
I type "20 sqrt 2" instead "20sqrt 2" these is a space between 20 and
square root of 2. It doesn't look good. Therefore I use "20sqrt 2".

But in OOo Math 2.0 there is another situation. "20 sqrt 2" works
correct but "20sqrt 2" works incorrect: on my display I see the text "20
sqrt 2" and no square roots!

The same situation is with using "over", "cdot" and so on.

Why it works so? It's a problem if compatibility, isn't it? And I ask: why?

Thank you!

P.S.: Thank you for OOo Math! It's much more convenient than MSO's
embedded equation editor. I've understood it a long time ago, said about
OOo to my friends and some of they said that they will use OOo Math
instead MSO's editor to make their mathematical works.
