------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sat Dec 3 11:44:25 -0800 2005 ------- When pasting characters through clipboard from the QTextBrowser widget of Trolltech's Qt4 the writer/web component does mix up the utf-8 encoding by not recognizing non-ascii characters; e.g. the word Türkiye (the country Turkey) becomes Türkiye. I have experienced that with Linux - KDE 3.4 and with Windows XP. As it is possible to paste the same content from the said Trolltech widget to other applications (e.g. Microsoft Word) without this problem happening I assume that it is a OpenOffice.org related problem. It does not occur with the calc component, however and thus seems limited to Writerand Writer/Web. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
