------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fri Jan 13 07:06:43 -0800 2006 ------- Hi, I created a simple XML document, added an instance, and created controls in the documents. Now I try to understand how work default values in the controls of the document and in the elements in the instance. It seems that there are some inconsistencies. Firstly, In need to enter several times a default value in the element properties before I can see the value in the control. Secondly, I can't see where is stored this value: the field doesn't keep the value in the element property and eventually the control becomes blank again. Thirstly, when I enter a default value in the control, it become a sub-element of in the instance, and the default value in the element is not updated. I think that the behavior should be the same whatever the way the value is entered. Don't you?
