------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Feb 16 02:06:24 -0800 2006 ------- All formulas inserted in a writer doc have a 2 mm. left and right space associated. When inserting them in a text paragraph this is inappropriate, since it is better to leave a normal space before and after it, like for any other word in the paragraph. This is because if your text has justified alignment, spaces have variable witdh to fill the line until the right margin. What happens then when the spaces are quite wide in a line were you placed a formula? Either: - you do not place a space at the formula sides, using the default 2 mm. space, and in this case the formula will appear to have spaces with different width wirt respect to other words on the line; - you do place additional spaces besides the default 2 mm., and in this case you will end up with too wide spaces around the formula if the other spaces in the line are tight. Unfortunately I could not find any way to change this default behaviour, and this forces me to either reset this left-right distances to 0 every single time, or create formulas copying the first one I made (where I set distances to 0) over and over deleting its content and rewriting it. There shuld really be an option to set this default to what you like. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
