------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sun Feb 19 06:59:03 -0800 2006 ------- Disappearing text , work not auto saving I am very happy with Ooo2.0.1 but I am having a serious problem, not sure of cause. I am using a recent IBM r50e laptop with xp home. I am running an up to date firewall and antivirus several times in the last week i have been working on 50/60 page documents over a period of a few hours, editing existing text. auto save (5mins) is enabled and , since first occurrence, clicked save icon periodically. After 3 or 4 hours the changes and new text made earlier in the session, maybe an hour or so before, have disappeared and can't be recovered. The first document to be affected was opened un converted from word format. so saved as odt. have converted other docs to odt since, before working on them. however the problem has now recurred. I think a work around will be to close and re open the work regularly, thereby forcing a full save. I think the temp working store of the document is being affected in some way, the problem could be with my computer but it could also be a bug in ooo. Sorry i can't be more specific but don't know when the text dissappeared over the course of the session.
