------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sun Feb 19 18:40:32 -0800 2006 ------- When opening Openoffice 2.0.2RC (same with 2.0.0) on a Mandriva 2006.0 box it takes almost 3 minutes. Clicking on Tools -> Options -> Java runtime environment (jre) already installed. However, the window remains empty. Trying to add jre comes up no JRE found. I give it the same path as on my 32bit box. Turning Java off, openoffice completes in about 5 sec. I see on the Mandriva cooker mailing list the same problem with a long delay and then when java is turn off OO starts in a short time. I have a file from a shell opening that I will attache if I can find out how to.
