I would like to suggest to integrate the page preview into the UI to become
something like a side/top/bottom-bar.
This helps to keep the overview while working on large documents. Currently it
is possible to open a second window with page preview, but the two windows are
not locked, therefore the user always has to keep both synchronized.
A combination of (reduced) Web view (i.e. editor view) and page preview might
allow to separate design and content. This way large documents could be edited
directly without headaches always found in WYSIWYG programs, where the LaTeX
approach has reasonable advantages.
Even for business use this approach might have strong advantages - i.e. having
the letter content separated from the design would relieve the user from working
around the tab/bold/italic formatting obstacles.
