------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Apr 18 13:33:26 -0700 2006 ------- I use M162 which isn't on the versions list I connected OOo to my Thunderbird 1.5 address book and made some tests. I configured my gmx.de account in OOo to send mails. 4 addresses where in my TB AB 2 GMX.de accounts, 1 mail.ru accounts and 1 FU-Berlin.de account I checked the mails with the webmail clients and TB 1.5 GMX uses: WWW-Mail 1.6 (Global Message Exchange) mail.ru uses: mPOP Web-Mail 2.19 FU-Berlin.de uses: Horde 3 Sending 4 mails gave me the following problems/messages: 1. some mail providers have a spam protection, when sending too much mail, they block you for x minutes, same did gmx and mail.ru. The sending screen of OOo just paused and didn't continue after the timeout, continue button wasn'T clickable 2. the mails on the mail.ru account where +2 h off, moscow is 2 h in front of europe. I thought this is mail.ru's fault and sent some test mails and they all were successful and fine 3. the mails on fu-berlin.de were all with unknown date or 1970-01-01 4. I set a sender name bug OOo sends my mail address as sender only 5. I set format to plain text, one mail is replied as HTML by thunderbird I don't know how far there are reproducable but 2, 3, 4 just can't be!
