OOo Writer doesn't recognize that the font size is 12pt unless the font size is forced or "changed" to 12pt. Test 1 1. Type two paragraphs and leave it in 12pt font. 2. Then type two more paragraphs and change it to 10pt font. 3. Copy one of the paragraphs in 12pt font and paste it between two of the paragraphs in 10pt font. The expected result is that the pasted text remains in 12pt font. The actual result is that the font size changes to 10pt font. Test 2 1. Type two paragraphs and leave it in 12pt font. 2. Type two paragrpahs and change it to 10pt font. 3. Select the first two paragraphs (showing as 12pt font), select the font size (12) in the toolbar and press enter. 4. Copy one of the paragraphs in 12pt font and paste it between two of the paragraphs in 10pt font. As expected, the font remains in 12pt font. It now seems that the font size is not actually set to 12pt unless it is "changed" to 12pt from 12pt. Test 3 1. Type two paragraphs and leave it in 12pt font. 2. Then type two more paragraphs and change it to 10pt font. 3. Select the paragraphs which are in 12pt font and make them bold. 4. Copy one of the paragraphs in 12pt font and paste it between two of the paragraphs in 10pt font. The expected result is that the pasted text remains in 12pt font and bolded.
