------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sun May 7 00:50:02 -0700 2006 ------- When I add pictures into Writer 2.0.2 and also I add titles on them using style 'illustration 1:', then there will be this illustration number appear as field - it's OK. But when I add next picture with title, then it depends, which picture is closer to document beginning and when two pictures are side by side then picture numbering goes very often wrong. I mean secondly added picture is number 1 and firstly added picture is number 2. Idea, how to solve - please add picture ID field into picture properties window. Then picture numbering mechanism can follow this ID to add correct order number into picture's title. When user puts picture ID higher than logically should come (e.g. after 10 comes 11), then this picture gets also in title the same number as its ID is. Perhaps in OpenOffice.org Settings should be possible to choose, how picture ID-s are shown - as pull down menu or editable field. Perhaps pull-down menu is better - then user cannot mess up picture ID's and can see, how many pictures are already added into this document. If pull-down menu is used then it automatically offers next number, what this picture is.
