------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Jun 15 10:26:55 -0700 2006 ------- After a crash, I start OOo. The recover dialog pops up, like it should. For some reason I alt-tab away from it or click on another window. Once it loses focus, it is impossible to get back to it. That the dialogue still lives can be seen in two ways: a) there's still an soffice.bin in the list of tasks, and b) when I press WIN-D (for minimize all windows), I can see the dialogue for the fraction of a second. The problem is that if a less tech savvy user has this happening to him, he'll start OOo again (thinking that for some reason it didn't start the first time), thus creating a new document and bypassing the recovery dialogue (which still waits for input). Loading his crashed document, he will find it in a pre-recovery state and despair. Can't have despairing users ;) The only workaround I'm aware of is killing the task in the taskmanager and starting OOo again; you get another recover dialog and another chance. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
