It has to be removed from the resources so that l10n will not get it and be confused and ask questions. With new languages being localized all the time, dead resources cause trouble, especially when they deal with deprecated terminology. MBA said to assign this to you and that PP1 is okay. No l10n will be triggered. No documentation will be affected.
