Several incompatiblilites were immediately noticeable. 1) Music stopped after about 2 seconds where played thru entire PPT presentation. 2) Text appeared in BLACK and mostly unreadable whereas PPT showed in WHITE text. 3) Impress required LEFT CLICK to advance whereas PPT progressed automatically. These are similar to issues that I reported during BETA. These must be fixed as I cannot recommend Impress to clients in this degraded mode. It is not compatible with MS PPT. I downloaded both PPT viewers (97 - 2002, and 2003 to 97) versions so I had a valid comparison base. These issues are the type that I classify as a SHOW STOPPER for a user. UNreadable slides and no music are issues which are viewed by many as a lack of quality control.
