------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Apr 14 11:43:12 -0700 2005 ------- Separators like decimal and group separator aren't recognized as such when parsing number format codes, if they aren't of the set of pre-known separators like '.' and ',' and so on. They don't act with the functionality of separators (e.g. a decimal separator separating integer part and decimals, or a trailing group separator dividing the displayed number by 1000), but are inserted into the displayed number as string instead and renders them as rounded integers. An example are the Arabic locales. You'll also notice that in the number formatter dialog the decimal places and the "Thousands separator" checkbox don't adapt to the format code. The format code of the Arabic locales currently uses '.' and ',' although separators are defined differently, which is wrong anyway. This will be fixed with issue 47148. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
