I have Firefox (not Mozilla proper), but I have not experienced this problem (Firefox 1.0 and 1.5). Also, what version of Mozilla were you using at the time? I am assuming you are using Acrobat 7 as the PDF reader...
Since I filed this bug, I've switched operating systems, so I'm no longer using Open Office. Instead, I'm using NeoOffice 1.2.2. Thus far, I've had no conflicts with Adobe Acrobat 7.
