I've been trying to write some recording software for the Delta 1010 using
alsa. I've been getting tons of buffer overrun errors. I've tried
using arecord thinking my code was a fault and get the same errors
there. I've play around with various buffer sizes. Any ideas? Anyone

But why is there no synth/FM volume available in the mixer BTW ?

IFM is enabled in X4, when 0xf8 is writ

available at http://gatos.sf.net . It is part of AVview - for standalone
mixer run alsa_mixer.scp, for AV playback and capture run avview.scp.
ENUMERATED controls don't work as I don't seem to be able to make use of
