I like the new page.

Some ideas for further improvement:
1.) How about merging API and documentation into one page?
    I think this separation is confusing, especially if developers
    follow "their" link on the frontpage and end up at the API page
    that doesn't even mention alsa 0.9.

2.) Most (all except doxygen?) references to doc deal with 0.5.
    I think it would be helpful to place links to installation doc and
    howtos for 0.9 at the top and move 0.5 stuff further down.
    If there are no such docs for 0.9 yet, at least a note on the 0.5
    doc's limited usefulness with 0.9 would help.
    Probably some links to preliminary/incomplete doc specifically
    for 0.9 here would be better than nothing.
