The frames concept took me a while and also the problem that I had
initally of mismatched buffer size and sample rate.

is there any progress on the status of full support for the newer devices
as snapper, etc (in the AlBooks,..). I'm running the 2.6.5 benh-kernel
from bitkeeper and basically the sound only works reliably when using the
oss emulation.

I would just like to report my pleasure with the current progress in
the snd-usb-audio driver.
The snd-usb-audio driver now doesn't hang my computer anymore during
shutdown (it did with previous versions). It fantastic to have it all
working as expected.
