[Alsa-devel] RPM Build problem

oes not include these files. The question is, should they be in the RPM or not? My gutfeel is that they are installation-specific and should not be in the RPM. In that case, do I modify the Makefile or somehow tell the specfile to delete the files before packaging? Thanks Alf Potgieter -

I seem to have problems opening many devices quickly. I use Mandrake 9, kernel 2.4.19-16mdkenterprise and gcc-3.2.1 (GCC) 3.2.1 (Mandrake Linux 9.1 3.2.1-2mdk) When I do this: x=32 while [ $x -ne 0 ] do let x=x-1 aplay /usr/share/sounds/phone.wav >bomb.$x 2>&1 & done I get a lar

It took me a while to figure this out, so I thought i'd share it. If you stick this into you .asoundrc, it creates a virtual device called 'all', which will play to four cards at once. ie aplay -Dall /usr/share/sounds/phone.wav alf All cards as one Device (pcm
