I just did it. I got the new 0.9b alsa stuff. 1. I have kernel 2.4.17, FROM www.kernel.org Built myself 'cause I do Netfilter dev stuff. 2. After building the kernel with support for my via686 chipset, built alsa-driver, ./configure, make, make install... Also fiddled with the
