OEM, so my external MIDI is only through the
joystick port on the card.
Audio out on the card is fine, and timidity is

I've been trying to write some real time midi applications under linux. I've been
tinkering with alsa for a little while, but still haven't been able to get it to work.
My system has a Sound Blaster Live card and i've loaded the emu-10k1 module. Xmms
works fine so i know the card is l

sblive!, not my c-media card, not even my rme hammerfall (though all of
them were able to record from my da-30 mkII under win2k). but i have

I tried both C-Media's driver and the driver from the stock 2.4.19
kernel. S/PDIF-IN doesn't work for either. I also tried:

I've done worse in the past, so your question is not too silly. But in

I'm trying to record through the RCA S/PDIF IN port. My system is:
Linux 2.4.19 i386 SMP + Alsa 9.0rc1 CMIPCI driver
The playback works fine but recording looks like this:

is it possible to listen to mp3's in 4speaker mode?
i only want to hear the same thing from all the 4 speakers... any ideas?
