Ensoniq/Creative CT5880 AudioPCI sound card. Here is the lspci output:

Have you looked at /proc/interrupts is there could be a collision on irq 3?
And have you made sure all the devices are unmuted and volume is raised
(with alsamixer for example)?
If that doesn't help, I don't know more, but I'm not very familiar with it.

I would like to know if other scripts (or tools) exists like this to
build a common tool.

Hi, I'm thinking of putting PPC Linux on my TiBook 667 (the system
profiler identifies it as a Powerbook G4 version 2.1).
Can somebody please tell me what level of audio support is provided by
ALSA for this computer?

I've an Ensoniq 1371 ( module ens1371 ).
I saw than alsa create 4 dsp devices but I can only use /dev/dsp0 and a
sound wrapper.
The other devices are unusable unlike OSS which creates 4 dsp devices
usable.
SO how to use the others sound devices ?

After installing 0.9.0rc3-0.3 on a Debian box,
sound played through /dev/dsp is (choose one:
pulsing, modulated or throbbing) at about one
cycle per second.
I notice it when using applications named
"plaympeg" and "tuxracer".
Does anyone happen to know why audio would thr
