Hi: I downloaded ALSA drivers v0.9.0rc6 and I'm using them now. They work correctly, but this Sound card (I have a Gigabyte GA7-VAX mobo) is multichannel (up to 6.1) in Windows. I'm currently using 2.1 speakers configuration, but I have 4.1 speakers, can I enable 4.1 output? Is it

I am pulling what little hair I have left out. I have an audio half duplex app. It runs under oss drivers on both a VIA AC-97 86c686 and an SB16. However under alsa on the sb16 it is totally screwed up with up to ten seconds time delay from whats being said to it actually leaving the system,

Tobiah, Hi. Can you provide some more info on how things are set up? If you've got the Delta44 IRQ on 9, then that's a good start. I do not understand how you moved the IRQ for video. That's normally not movable. Can you supply the complete output of an lspci -v command? What's the basic
