Im trying to play this old game, Terminus, with alsa-0.9.2 with
OSS emulation but to no avail. With the OSS driver it works.
With alsa, it starts like this:
$ terminus
Opened /dev/dsp for writing.
Opened /dev/dsp for reading.
Set 16 bits
Info 123: Set stereo sound
Set 44100Hz audio

I'm having trouble using Linphone 0.10.0, a SIP phone with the 0.9.2

with on-board SiS7012 audio.
Linphone connects to the SIP service, and I hear audio but it's not
picking up any audio input from my microphone. I ran alsamixer
Hi,
Good to hear from you. OK, I've been running a A7V266-E for a couple
of years for my Pro Tools rig. It's a great MB. That box is dual-boot,
runs RH 7.3 with an RME HDSP 9652 and it's been a great box. I do run
Jack for everything, so that is a difference, but I'm really pretty

I'm working with the 2.5 series kernel. This doc does not cover that.

Hi. Can you provide some more info on how things are set up? If
you've got the Delta44 IRQ on 9, then that's a good start. I do not
understand how you moved the IRQ for video. That's normally not movable.
Can you supply the complete output of an lspci -v command?

I've read that several people say that with the latest alsa

I also have this problem. I have noticed however that with mplayer

Hi,
I have a SB PCI64 sound card, with a ens1370 chip. I would like to
record from the line1 input (this is the on-board input, called
TV tuner input). Using OSS free drivers, I am able to put that input to
its recordable state (using aumix), and then the recording works
perfectly. But with the a
Thanks, that looks most promising. I'll look into it.

Hi,
A couple of days ago this happened to me:
I start timidity, connect with kaconnect and play, it works.
I start swami or zynaddsubfx, connect kaconnect and there's no

I think it might be possible to set up .asoundrc and use PCM plugins. I am reading the
docs how. If it is possible then an examp
