I recently updated redhat 8 with kernel 2.4.20-19.8 to kernel
2.4.20-20.8 and tried to install alsa 0.9.4 and got the following error:

Hey, I got a Sound Blaster 128 too and also couldn't make it work
correctly. Is it a PCI board? What does 'lspci' shows?

I am having trouble with my ALSA drivers. I have an Audigy, and am
trying to setup the Digital Coaxial output.
I have a Klipsch Promedia 5.1 set of speakers, with the digital decoder--
so it shows me what mode the audio is in.
I get sound, like from XMMS, sounds GREAT. But I cant seem to g
