I have a problem with the soundcard ESI [EMAIL PROTECTED]It works fine when playing sound, but when i modprobe snd_seq and use it(starting rosegarden for example) then my system completly hangs, X doesn't react, ctrl+alt+f# doesn't work either.

seems that my pcm_multi array ( 3 c-ports) clicks with lan activity. just
scp'ing a file will cause random clicks in the audio during playback and not
create x-runs.. i'm confused by this as all the pci cards (intel gig nic,3
ice1712 cards and 2 nvidia gpu's) are all on individual irq's using
