I'm trying to install ALSA on a Redhat Linux 2.6 kernel.
I've downloaded the most recent software, ran configure, but it failed
to compile out of the box.
Most of documentation seems to related to 2.0 and 2.2 kernels. I'm
wondering if someone can point me to more up-to-date documentation.

FYI, for anyone checking this in the future, I was contacted by someone who
said this does indeed work.
In addition, I found that a client of mine had a machine with this
motherboard and I was able to check it out using Knoppix (5.1?). It worked

messages in ALSA?
I am not sure if I have configured something incorrectly, or if I
should compile a bug report. If someone could say yeah, I use
program change all the time - programs banks whatever its great.
