Hi group,
I think I have found a problem with the USB sound driver? It appears
that the current drive returns a x'81' for silence but it should be a
x'7f'.
When I use my laptop's sound device and record without a mic, I get
a file full of x'7f's. If I do the same with my cheap-o USB devic
I decided to use this list because I'm not programming anything
related to alsa per-se... but you will tell me if it's better to write
to the devel list.
I'm creating a java program that (at this stage) outputs a sine wave
to my speakers.
I can get the "line" (Java Sound API) and send it the buff
