I try to cross compile alsa-driver-1.0.15 on AD1981BL chip. According to
http://www.alsa-project.org/main/index.php/Matrix:Vendor-Analog_Devices, alsa
support AD1981B, I thinks it also supports AD1981BL, so I use module
snd-intel8x0. I configure:

The left channel on my laptop and desktop seems to have stopped working
properly under Linux. I've tried two different flavors of the same distro,
ubuntu 710 and 704.
Here's a summary of the problems:
Laptop: 704 = weak left channel, 710 = no left channel at all
Desktop: 704 = n
