Hello,
My motherboard: PCCHIPS A13G+
http://www.pcchips.com.tw/PCCWebSite...uID=44LanID=0
I'm using Ubuntu 7.10 - the Gutsy Gibbon, I was using Feisty before
and had the same problems.
The interesting thing: the system sounds all work. Some example .ogg
files that came with Ubuntu also work.
How do I get ALSA to pass an ac3 file through to my receiver? I want the
receiver to decode it, not my PC.
Thanks
JLM

Is it possible to setup ALSA in a way that the UA-25 becomes the

In particular, I want to send audio from one application to another,
using the file plugin from alsa.
