I did. Using the OpenSuse Yast -> Hardware -> Sound, I disabled the creative soundcard, but no difference. I already deleted these configurations and have alsa find them again. Alsa does not report any error, but I have never heard any sound from any of the sound cards. Bart Sergei Steshenko wrot
