I have an onboard Intel 8280lg ICH7 soundcard with Realtec ALC883 chipset.
The headphones work under Windows. With Linux I am using the snd_hda_intel
module. I get normal sound through the speakers but none through the headphones.

apps. with the echomixer apps, i can see the incomming signals. Both analog

I have been using the optical SPDIF from my MSI Speedster A4R
motherboard successfully of some time. Unfortunately, I now want to get
a coaxial SPDIF output from the motherboard and there isn't a RCA jack
on the back on the board. Currently, I am just outputing analog stereo

i have a acer aspire 7530g and on board is a ALC888S and after i made
options snd-hda-intel model=3stack-6ch
or model=acer or model=acer-aspire etc its working BUT very low.
Before i set that option, there were no sound at all.
